I started skateboarding when I was 13 years old. Skateboarding was my passion then and it continues to be to this day.

 

I become more passionate about the sport after I had my two sons. Being a parent made me realize that I wasn't taking care of myself the way I used to. I focused much of my energy on my kids and did not spend much time doing things that I enjoyed. Once I got back into skateboarding in 2016 I realized how much I missed the sport.

 

I've been in the Windsor/ Detroit area since 2012. I'm apart of the Windsor Regiment (RCAC), and I graduated with a BA in Criminal Justice from Wayne State University.

If I'm out skateboarding you'll usually find me at Riverside Skate park, God bless the solar lights, Atkinson or Modern Skate park. 

​

Opening a skate shop in Windsor was merely an idea until the opportunity presented itself to me. It was a "fight or flight" moment.

​

I decided to take the opportunity and fly.

 

I believe that Bliss will strengthen the connection between the Windsor and Detroit skateboarding community.

 

We are the closest skate shop to Atkinson Skate Park and even closer to Riverside Skate park.
